What a lot of people don't know about us is that before Altmann Roofing and Construction became one of St. Louis's go-to roofing companies, Rusty Altmann built custom homes. That's how the company got started back in 1992 — as a custom home builder, not a roofing outfit. That background in full construction never went anywhere. It's still here, and we put it to work on every project we take on.

Rusty's father was a German custom cabinet maker who came to the U.S. in 1954 and built a successful business here in St. Louis — Altmann Kitchen and Bath Company.
